Climate

Mild, with a short winter; after Sandanski, the town of Banya has the most sunny days per year. Snow does not stay because the warm underground waters keep the ground warm.

There is little cloudiness, and the Balkan Mountain range protects the resort from northern winds. The climate has a calming effect. With these climatic conditions, the resort belongs to the year-round climate and spa resorts.
