Route 1

Banya - Kishish Mahala - Banya, towards Plovdiv

Instead of crossing the "Stryama" river via the bridge, turn right before the bridge onto the asphalt road, moving parallel to the river. After about 1 km, there is a right turn, where you bypass the dairy farm and continue straight towards Kishish Mahala. The ride takes about half an hour. You can bring swimwear and sandwiches for a break by the river.

Route 2

Banya - Prolom - Banya

The road is very peaceful and flat. Prolom is the last village, and there is very little car traffic. If it's a church holiday and the church is open, make sure to visit. Inside, there is a miraculous appearance of the Holy Mother of God on the wall.

Route 3

Banya - Begunci (the "Stublata" fountain in Begunci)

Refreshment at the "Bryasta" establishment in Begunci. The route is not busy with cars but involves some uphill sections. If you are not avid cyclists, you may need to push your bikes at times. The descent on the way back will be more enjoyable. The scenery along the route is very beautiful. The "Bryasta" establishment is cool and shaded. They don't offer a wide range of food, but you can have lunch there. The staff is very polite. The duration of the trip is around 1-2 hours, but it may take longer depending on your stay at "Bryasta".

Route 4

Banya - Prolom - Domlyan - Domlyan Reservoir - Prolom - Banya

The route is very peaceful as Prolom is the last village. The road between Prolom and Domlyan consists of concrete slabs arranged next to each other, with rare car traffic. The road is flat, with small uphill and downhill sections in some places. The scenery between Prolom and Domlyan is exceptionally beautiful, with the "Stara Planina" (Balkan Mountains) on the left and the "Sredna Gora" Mountains on the right. The duration of the trip is approximately 2-3 hours.

Route 5

Banya - Prolom - Domlyan (Domlyan Reservoir) - Begunci - Banya

You can start with Route 4 but on the way back, pass through Begunci. The road between Begunci and Domlyan is busier with car traffic, including trucks. Similar to Route 3, you can recharge at the "Bryasta" establishment. They offer a limited food selection, but the staff is very courteous. The duration of the trip is approximately 2-3 hours, or longer depending on your stay at "Bryasta".

Route 6

Domlyan - Mrachenik extension

Choose either Route 4 or Route 5, and then continue uphill from Domlyan to Mrachenik. The road is steep uphill, and the route is challenging. The local youth from Banya who train for triathlons complete it almost every day in about 1 hour.
